So you won’t be able to buy Zesa on these three days

The Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company Company (Zetdc) has a planned shutdown of of the prepaid-vending system on this weekend.

It said:

The Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC) would like to advise its valued customers countrywide that the Prepaid Electricity Vending system will not be available for service from Friday, 7 April 2017 at 2230hrs to Sunday, 9 April 2017 at 1000hrs.

And here is why. And we need to know because they were pretty much down for almost a week because of some fault.

This is to facilitate for scheduled maintenance works to improve service delivery. The scheduled maintenance is meant to address the challenges that customers have been experiencing during the past weeks to ensure efficient service delivery.

So you need to go and make purchases of the product or else this weekend could be awkward. The missus might look at you like… ‘ko how far’. And you won’t be able to say ‘2 minutes’.

Cause Zesa won’t be 2 minutes.
