A new Zimbabwean TV series could make its way onto our screens if things go well.
The series is called Humambo and is the work of Invision Studios in partnership with Media Matrix with African Fire Jewellery.
The synopsis is as follows:
Power struggles within the richest family in the wealthy diamond filled land of Murange. The Chief of Murange is also the Chairman to the Board of Murange Diamonds is not feeling well, his son and brother fight to succeed.
Writer Blessing Chinanga says they are targeting 13 episodes. So far a pilot has been shot and will be used to attract investors in what looks like an intriguing story.
Some of the cast involved are Tsungai Zvobgo, Patrice Chakanyuka, Shaun Mundawarara, Kuda Musasiwa, Pryde Mpofu, Liberty Mafukidze, Chido Musasiwa and Farai Chigudo
