Tough-tackling Zimbabwe captain Willard Katsande has changed his mind and will continue representing the Warriors at international level.
He quit the Warriors after their exit from the Africa Cup of Nations 2017,
Now he has made himself available for the campaign to make it to the 2019 edition in a tough group that includes Liberia, DRC and Congo Brazaville. Those finals will be held in Cameroon.
Katsande also believes the decision to relieve coach Kalisto Pasuwa of his duties wrong. The Herald quotes him as saying Pasuwa had built a strong team with a winning mentality.
The country’s football governing board has started its search for a new coach in earnest.
