Jamaican police took their sweet time but it seems as if Vybz Kartel has not escaped from prison as reported earlier.
The story went viral and for all intent and purpose it seemed as if it was true. He was reported to have escaped with seven other inmates but Assistant Commissioner of Police Les Green told the Jamaican Observer early this morning that he had no knowledge of the reported jail break.
He added that it may have been attempt by some people from Kartel’s camp to keep him in the news.
I guess he might still get to wear those Clarkes for a little longer.
