Heating up the airwaves with her groundbreaking single RAD, the era of Dice is upon us.
And when you get such a feminine pack of excellence what else could you ask for, more hits? Absolutely. The talented rapper and actress gave us insight into the world of DICE, how she feels about her two Zim Hip Hop Awards nominations, stigmatisation and artists who she would want to work with.
Five words that describes you.
Realistic, imaginative, creative, fair and just. I guess that’s what comes to mind.
Great. How’s been the year 2016 for you?
Hectic but an interesting learning curve.
And what do the two Zim hip-hop Awards nominations means to you?
To be honest I’m really happy considering I didn’t plan on getting a nomination. It was my aim to get back into the studio and do what I love. It feels good though.
Being a female rapper, how are you coping up with stigmatisation?
It’s a mental block if you decide to think of it in that way. I just do what I gotta do regardless of what people may think. Life is too short to worry about anything other than what you feel works for you. I don’t recognize stigmatization.

Amazing. How did the collaboration with Cal Vin worked out and what was the creative process like?
We are very different creatively, I guess that’s what makes it interesting. He is very open to concept ideas and can think up a storm in the moment. I , on the other hand, like pen and paper.(Laughs).The process is always fun.
That was insanely crazy I see.So apart from Cal Vin who else would you love to work with in any projects?
I am open to collaborative projects regardless of whom I work with. The main thing for me is having a good vibe. It’s unfortunate that I don’t always have enough time to pursue some of these collabos as I constantly have to balance film and music. But if I were to do an alternative track I would love to work with Hope Masike.
Hope is exceptional , I believe you guys can connect vibe wise.So what’s your prime interest, music or acting?
It’s hard to say as both are creative and both are very important to me. Over time I have been more involved with production as opposed to acting.
Well, I’m star struck. Last time I checked you were in the paper saying you have another offing project with Cal Vin.Now what’s next for you?
I would like to merge the two things I love a lot more, so I will be doing more music videos I hope (time permitting) and next year I will be looking into doing a documentary or TV show on Hip Hop.
I’m convinced, you have an awesome lot in the pipeline. Good luck with that.Last words for your fans.
Thank you so much for the support, without you there would be little joy in creating.
Thanks for your time and we wish you a merry Christmas and a prosperous new year.
Same to you, have a great holiday season.
