Caps United are champions of Zimbabwe

Harare giants Caps United are the 2016 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League champions after beating Chapungu 1-0 on the final day of the league at Ascot Stadium in Gweru.

Simba Nhivi’s second minute goal was the difference at Ascot Stadium rendering Fc Platinum’s 3-0 win over Tsholotsho at Luveve Stadium academic.

The Green Machine captured their fifth title with an unbeaten run in the last ten games and three 1-0 wins in the final machines.
