Women prefer men with full beards for long-term relationships – study

A new study has revealed that women prefer men who have full beards for long term committed relationships.

The study by the University of Queensland in Australia says women see full beardedness as a signal of formidability among males and the potential to provide direct benefits, such as enhanced fertility and survival, to females.

Computer simulated graphics were used to morph faces to make them more or less masculine. They were classified into clean-shaven, light stubble, and full beards and shown to 8.,520 women.

Stubble had a higher rating for short-term relationships.

Extremely masculine and extremely masculine looking men came were least attractive.

Before someone catches feelings, this isn’t really about individual preferences. It is what science found be to be true for a certain sample. Some feel beard dudes are just more trustworthy than the non-beard ones.
