Nkanyeziyethu’s GANU shines at Durban Fashion Fair 2016

Nkanyeziyethu Malunga’s GANU was one of two Bulawayo designers representing Zimbabwe at this year’s Durban Fashion Fair.

She showcased the a strong metallic collection fused with ilala (basketry) accessories.

In speaking exclusively to 3-mob.com:

I drew my inspiration from the Fulani tribe. And incorporated hints of the tribes found in Zimbabwe. It was a metallic, bronze and zebra print theme, which are the 2017/2018 colour trends.

The other designer was Sidumiso Tshuma.
