QUICK SONG REVIEW: BC ft Liefy Jones and Dubblin – Kukosha

Zimbabwean alternative artist BC hooks up with Johannesburg vocalist Liefy Jones on this new track called Kukosha.

Added to the mix is Dubblin (you might remember him his collaboration with Dr Tawanda for Unconquerable).

With such talent on hand it is hard to go wrong and the song shows good form for the artists. The interpretation is helped by the use of language meaning the characters do sound grateful for the gift of life.

As an alternative blend, it will be great for mid-morning type music and festival performances but it will battle for the mainstream rigor. But maybe that is not where it is going.

The chorus does snatch you from the wilderness doesn’t it?
