Zimbabwe has announced its squad for the upcoming test series against New Zealand.
Prince Masvaure gets rewarded for his performance with the bat against South Africa A while there are call-ups for Njabulo Ncube plus a return to the national setup for Brian Chari and Tinotenda Mawoyo.
There is however no place for former captain Elton Chigumbura and limited overs opening batsman Vusi Sibanda in the 16-man squad.
Zimbabwe play two tests against the full strength Black Caps who landed in the country on Wednesday. The matches set for Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo will be on 29 July and 6 August. It is the first test hosts willplay since 2014.
Meanwhile, New Zealand will play Zimbabwe A in a three-day practice match at Harare Sports Club from Friday to Sunday, and then fly to Bulawayo on Monday for the Test matches.
