On who he is

I think I am that guy every day. I am tryna be that good guy in the middle but surrounded by things that shouldn’t be there

On his collaboration with Magents:

It is solely built on words. They print t-shirts taht change people’s minds and make them think a lot more and that is what Reason does.

It is right because of the message that is being pushed right now.

It is about fixing problems with our art.

On hip hop in SA and the growth:

Hip hop is like the evidence of social ills and pills. Often we come across as people that cause people to live certain lives yet it is a reflection of our lives.

What makes it important right now is that it holds a message that normal African black people go through everyday that is money. They want money. Some  of them talk about it recklessly and some positively.

It all comes down to what do people want to say; how do I wanna feel?

On the conscious image of hip hop and growth

Because we’re growing up and we are having kids and the tax money wants his money. The younger ones are based on what they need not what they have experienced.

Diversity of people creates diversity of conversation.

On fashion, groom and deportment is important in hip hop:

The fashion industry is going through a phase we went through in hip hop years ago and inner battles over not biting or being accused of trying to be western.

Reason also told us he is working on an album movie and concerts (he wants to come to Zimbabwe)
