Shoko 2016 call for artist applications

Shoko Festival has issued a call for artist applications for this year’s festival.

This year’s edition will again take place at the Zimbabwe Museum of Human Sciences grounds in Harare and in Chitungwiza on the last day from the 23rd to the 25th of September 2016.

A call is being made for musicians, comedians, dancers, and spoken word artists are to submit applications.

Shoko Festival coordinator Natalie Komb:

“We are excited to discover what new talent is out thereand to provide them with the space to receive the exposure that they deserve. Artists play a vital role in any community and it’s important that we keep our festivals alive and thriving so that not only do the public get to be entertained, but we can also continually contribute to the development of our artists.

The Shoko 2016 call for artist application form is available  for download at www.shokofestival.com. Deadline is the 20th of May 2016.
