Zimbabwe have named their squad for the 2016 ICC World Twenty20 to be staged in India next month.
It is essentially a side that picks itself given the form of the team recently. Chamu Chibhabha who looked a shoe-in six months ago misses out after an astonishing loss of form. Vusi Sibanda who was brilliant with the willow when he returned to the side against Bangladesh will be on the plane.
Zimbabwe are in Group B of the First round where they will fight it out with Hong Kong, Afghanistan and Scotland from 8 March. It is Afghanistan that pose the biggest threat to the Chevrons’s ambition to make it to the Super 10.
Before the tournament Zimbabwe will play Bangladesh (4 March) and Ireland(6 March) in warm-up matches
