Zimbabwe squad for World Twenty20 to be announced

Zimbabwe will on Saturday announce the squad for the 2016 ICC World Twenty20 tournament in India.

The announcement will  be made by convener of selectors Kenyon Ziehl,while head coach Dav Whatmore and captain Hamilton Masakadza will also be there.

This will be after the final Twenty20 domestic match in the current tournament being held in Bulawayo. This will be at Queens Sports Club at 17.45.

Speculation is that all-rounder Sean Williams might not make it onto the plane after being banned for three domestic matches for abusing an umpire. Whether selectors will punish one of their most consistent performers remains to be seen.
