Reports say organisers of Miss World Zimbabwe will force contestants to swear on the Bible that they do not have nudes.
After Thabiso Phiri (2014) and Emily Kachote (2015) were deposed after they were alleged to have nudes out following coronation.
Kinda weird. Sure we know a lot of people believe in the whole Bible thing in Zimbabwe, but this kinda steps on the whole right to religious beliefs. In effect what happens if you don’t believe in god at all. Does that mean you can’t take part in the competition because of the whole conscience thing.
Declaration form as a contract is fine but really, asking people to believe in your spirituality as a gambit for honesty is quite plainly, weird.
