Carl Joshua Ncube moves to radio and tells us why…

So comedian, chef, animator and hotelier Carl Joshua Ncube can now add radio guy to his resume.

Carl now features every Monday to Thursday on a show called The Morning Rush with Mcdonald Gurira at 5.30am on ZBC’s SFM.

3-mob.com caught up with him for an exclusive chat on what this was all about.

So why radio?

So I hope to make this a LIVE coffee shop product. I am in inspired by Larry Kwirirayi’s KwiriCast [weekly podcast], coz he has redefined how I look at radio. Essentially I am a KwiriCast baby.

What are you hoping to achieve?

We’re taking radio from being this thing we listen to and converting it to an experience we all live through. People wont have to wake up to hear us live. But they can listen to podcasts or catch us broadcast later at a local coffee shop. So its giving radio an ACTUAL FACE

Will you be doing more radio?

Definitely more radio to come. would like to get my comedy on radio, the cooking but most importantly I am planning some motivational or feel good Sundays.
