The THREE Things We Hope To See On ‘The Perfect Tehn’

Tehn Diamond’s much anticipated first solo jaunt is almost about to drop and we believe it will be way before Christmas.

We have been waiting for The Perfect Tehn since we met Tehn a few years ago and well, from a post we saw today it looks like he is done cooking it and ready to serve.

So what three things are we hoping to find in the album:

Music

Something we take for granted. It is a music album but when we say music we mean properly laid tracks with great compositions and the lot. We know Tehn can flow and blow but after waiting for so long we expect a riveting listen. Like Phonte said on Little Brother’s Hate

Dope beats, dope rhymes. This Hip Hop ain’t really that hard man

Stories

Many of us will have had bits and pieces of his story, we want this album to tell the story that we all love. It’s been told in hip hop a lot but we expect a real feel to the album, something that says, yeah, that shit can happen.

The blue touchpaper

This album needs to push Tehn beyond the realm of Zim hip hop as we have defined it but Zim hip hop as it should challenge the best on the continent. The locals already know him and he has a hoard of fans but we want to see an album that pushes him out there and growls with the best of them. We are talking about big features on the continent’s platforms from a fully and aggressively marketed product. Then the big concerts based on huge subscriptions.
