Lion Mauls Guide In Park Where Cecil Was Killed

A lion has mauled a guide to death in a park where Cecil was killed.

Camp Hwange announced the death of Quinn Swales at Hwange National Park on Monday.

The lodge said the guide was leading tourists when a male lion unexpectedly attacked him.

However, according to The Herald, the killer lioness in question is said to be part of an Oxford research and is called Nxaha,

Camp Hwange also added:

We can confirm that Quinn did everything he could to successfully protect his guests and ensure their safety, and that no guests were injured in the incident.

He was 40.

Rest in peace Quinn. Sad loss to Zimbabwe.
