Zimbabwe’s senate has passed the controversial Labour Act Amendment Bill.
What is more the bill has been passed without any changes meaning any of the issues raised in parly have not been considered.
That means the concerns raised by many on retrospective action have been ignored meaning there could be a big legal battle coming up.
Either that or Zanu-pf’s government has something else up its sleeve.
The bill seeks to deal with the job carnage since a 17 July 2015 Supreme Court finding that employees could be removed from work with notice without the need for real reasons to be given.
Game on.
