Ban Extended On Hunting As Zimparks Confirm Killing Of Another Lion

A second lion has been confirmed killed in the same area that Cecil The Lion was murdered.

The second lion is said to have possibly been killed in April but had not been reported.

Zimparks has now said that all hunting of lions, elephants and cheetahs in the Hwange National Park.

Bow and arrow hunts have been suspeneded and will need special permission from National Parks and Wildlife Authority director. Not only that. They hunters will now need to be accompanied by a parks member.

Zimbabwe’s parks authority’s latest move follows the death of the country’s most famous lion Cecil. The country has since asked for the United States to extradite the killer, Walter Palmer.
