Mushekwi On Target Again In Sweden; Hi ZIFA!

Zimbabwean international striker Nyasha Mushekwi was on target for his Swedish side Djurgarden in a draw against giants Malmo on Sunday.

Mushekwi who is the top goalscorer in the league (that was his 10th in 10 matches) gave his side the lead in 39th minute away from home. Magnus Wolff Eikrem equlaised for the hosts meaning that Djurgarden (fifth) remain two points behind Malmo in fourth as well as four behind Elfsborg in second.

Mushekwi’s rich vein of form has caught the attention of many and the question remains whether Zimbabwe will call him up for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Malawi on 13 June.

Question we say because with less than a week to go to the game, we still have no idea who will be in that squad. With Zifa rudderless at the moment and even bigger question over the future of national coach Kalisto Pasuwa.

We are told the squad will probably be announced on Monday meaning that guys like Mushekwi if called up will have to start trudging to find their way here after that. When do they get here? Silly!

Zifa is being a but silly now. Can they just sort this stuff out?
