Cuthbert Dube Still ZIFA Boss – FIFA

Just as Omega Sibanda and a whole bunch of people were doing cartwheels down their streets of choice Fifa have come in and told everybody to take chill pill because Cuthbert Dube is still president of the Zimbabwe Football Association.

This is after Fifa, football’s governing body, said the meeting that led to the removal of Dube was null and void.

So it was not procedural.

They haven’t stone wall though. Fifa said:

Fifa recommend that Zifa hold the extraordinary congress by 16 June 2015 at the latest in order to comply with the Zifa constitution.

Fifa says it is a constitutional thing then. Procedural what what.

So they simply have to meet again to follow the rules. We do not get it. Zifa constitution a bit messy then.

Cuthbert is like that girlfriend who you dump but she says it doesn’t count because it was by WhatsApp and she doesn’t recognise messages sent on the platform as binding. Also she feels of course that it must happen at 6.17am on a 17th of the month and the moon must be full.
