Nyami Nyami Records To Release New Chiwoniso Song [AUDIO INSIDE]

Nyami Nyami records will this coming week release a limited edition of one of the last songs recorded by late Mbira star Chiwoniso Maraire.

Scheduled for 15 April the release is a dedication to the late singer. The track is called Zvichapera and what we will see are 350 copies limited edition 12” / screen printed covers signed and numbered by artist Misheck Masamvu, each unique in color.

That is neat.

On the B side is a remix by Tendai ‘Chimurenga Renaissance’ Maraire, brother of Chiwoniso and one half of hip-hop duo Shabazz Palaces.
