Pamberi Trust and Book Cafe in partnership with Tanyaradzwa Cancer Trust will this Wednesday host a World Cancer Day discussion and concert at the venue.
Victor Kunonga, Prudence Katomeni-Mbofana and Tariro NeGitare will headline the concert that will kick off at 8pm. That concert has a cover charge of $5.
The evening starts with the 5.30pm Discussion: ‘NOT BEYOND US’ – A free public discussion led by eminent speakers Dr Sunanda Ray, Dr Anna Mary Nyakabau, and Dr Bernadette Ndoro on early detection, choosing a healthy life, achieving treatment for all, and maximizing quality of life. The discussion is free for all to come and take part in.
Tanyaradzwa was started by Talent Yakado, a cancer survivor who is passionate about access to information for Zimbabweans, and who through her work, has earned the respect and support of both health professionals in the field, and many Zimbabwean performing artists.
