99% Effective Male Birth Control Pill On Its Way

Choices for male birth control have always been limited to pretty much, well, the condom really – and getting your bits snipped.

In three years, things will (could) be different after reports that a 99% effective male birth control pill will be on the market as early as 2017.

The pill is being worked on by an Indonesian college which obtained the patent to extract the medicinal values in a local plant called gendarussa.

Now check this. Locals have used the plant for decades for this purpose. They have boiled and drunk it 30 minutes before intercourse and voila.

Trials on human beings have shown less side effects than birth control in women. In fact, gents, there is weight gain and wait for it… increase in libido. Whoa!

So an hour before sex at the latest one takes the pill and well, no unwanted surprises. Gents, it will be in your corner soon. You won’t be able to blame her alone.

Quick side-note. The fact that this is being done in Indonesia and the patent is there, it will take longer for it to get to the United States of America – some say 10 years. And since we in Zimbabwe fancy our drugs with an US FDA et al tag it might be a while before it gets here.
