Zimbabwean Among Dead In Nigeria Building Collapse

A Zimbabwean was among the 80 people who died in the Nigerian building collapse a week.

Greenwich Ndanga, who was a pastor went to Nigeria on  church business. He was also an MDC-T provinvial chairman. His party confirmed the news.

According to VOA Studio7, MDC-T provincial secretary for parliamentary affairs, Stewart Garadhi, is quoted as saying that they are waiting for information on the repatriation of Ndanga’s body.

67 South Africans were among the dead in the building collapse which took place at a hostel belonging to Nigerian preacher TB Joshua’s Synagogue Church Of All Nations. The circumstances of the tragedy are not clear.

Quick side-note: As our thoughts are with the Ndanga family at this time, we hope the Zimbabwe government is getting involved in this. A Zimbabwean has died abroad in shady circumstances and we have to be seen to be taking care of our own.
