South African paralympian Oscar Pistorius has been found guilty of culpable homicide in the death of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
He was also found guilty on the charge of negligence in discharging a firearm in the incident at Tasha’s. He was found not guilty of firing through the roof and illegal possession of a firearm.
As we said yesterday Judge Thokozile Masipa had dismissed premeditated murder and murder charges.
RIP Reeva Steenkamp.
UPDATE: Looks as if the state will go for the jugular. Advocate Gerrie Nel says Pistorius will face long sentence.
