A senior Christ Embassy member has described as ‘make-up stories’ the rumours that Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and his wife Rev Anita have divorced.
Well it is not the official word of the church but a senior preacher Pastor Mercy said:
It is not true; it is a rumour. All these things are make-up stories. The Facebook post is an absolute fallacy.
She was responding to a Facebook post from a page opened by a group linked to the church saying Rev Anita had gone AWOL leading to speculation that all was not well.
The church has been silent on the matter, at least officially.
The Naija blogosphere went into overdrive last week over the issue.
Of course the fact that Pastor Mercy herself has said there are no issues does not mean it is to believed.
