Two Zimbabweans finished in the top 10 of the 2014 Comrades Marathon in South Africa on Sunday.
Past champion Stepehen Muzhingi finished fourth while Prodigal Khumalo was placed ninth. The race was won by South African Bongmusa Mthembu who finished ahead of last year’s champion Ludwick Mamabolo. Gift Kelehe also from the host nation finished third.
Seven South Africans were in the top 10.
In the women’s draw Great Britain’s Eleanor Greenwood beat of the challenge of Russians Elena Nurgalieva and Olesya Nurgalieva.
Well done to the Zimbabwean boys and congratulations to the winners.
