General Mujuru Declared National Hero

Retired General Solomon Mujuru who died in the early hours of  Tuesday morning has been, as expected, declared a national hero and will be buried at the National Heroes’ Acre on Saturday

His remains will be taken to his rural home in Chikomba, Sadza, where thousands from the constituency are expected to pay their last respects to one of their own.

From Sadza the remains will be flown to Marondera, the capital of Mashonaland East province and will be then ferried back to Harare where they will lie in state at his Chisipite residence.
