Rape-accused RMG Independent End Time Message leader Martin Gumbura says he did not rape anyone and that the women he had sex with consented to his acts as he pushed to increase his offspring from 30 to 100.
After the State closed its case Gumbura claimed that five of the seven women who accuse him of rape slept with him willingly. One of the women is his sixth wife’s younger sister.
He claimed he was angry that two of the women had terminated pregnancies as that interfered with his 100 kids mission.
Gumbura claimed to have been in love with one of the girls and was in relationship with her for six years before she married someone else. In the case of another girl, he claimed that the woman was being used by her sister who he allegedly dumped.
He pointed his finger at rival pastors accusing them of engineering the campaign against him.
Gumbura’s case has shocked the nation with tales of depraved sexual acts from instances where he is said to have urinated in women’s mouths, arranged group sex, threatened to commit people to the devil, claimed ownership of all the women in the church among others.
The trial continues today.
