Makandiwa In Bit of a Pickle

Self-proclaimed ‘prophet’ Emmanuel Makandiwa is in a bit of a spot of bother after a motivational speaker, Mr Pascal Nyasha filed a $680,000 lawsuit against him for hijacking his airtime communication programme.

Nyasha is seeking $500,000 for copyright infringement and $180,000 in patrimonial loss.

Makandiwa launched his ‘spiritual airtime’ system a few weeks ago raising eyebrows from some sectors of society. Concern over Makandiwa’s business dealings has gained traction of late. Potraz, the telecommunications regulation authority is said to be looking into is airtime system.

Of course if he loses the lawsuit, I am sure he can get his followers to pay for it. After all they do pay for all his luxuries!
