Star Lotto’s Bizarre Reason For Not Paying Out

Gambling venture Star Lotto is refusing to pay a punter $306,000 which he won in August this year.

And their reason?

They say he has to provide an investment plan for how he will use the money before they give it to him.

Yep, you read that right.

They say, Kumburai Ruguva has to prove he won’t waste the money or else they have no plan to give it to him. Essentially it is as if he is getting a bank loan. Except he is not paying it back.

We don’t know. It’s ridiculous.

So Ruguva has taken the gambling company to the High Court because there was nothing in their terms and conditions that said that having an investment plan was needed before one could get the money from winnings. Do you think they did something wrong and made this reason up?

We don’t know. It’s weird. Very weird.

It’s much like hooking up with a commercial sex worker and she says a pre-requisite for your engaging in activities with her is that she must be satisfied.
