Tich Mataz Trial Begins On Wednesday

Suspended Star FM Programmes Manager Tichafa Matambanadzo will go on trial on 9 October.

Matambanadzo popularly known as Tich Mataz is charged with allegedly defrauding the Zimpapers-owed station of more than $126,0000. This the state alleges done by his misrepresenting the company by use of his own entity. His company it is said would claim to have been sub-contracted for work on behalf of the station, with letters to that effect printed on Star FM letterheads.

Mataz had warrant of arrest issued for him on Wednesday after he failed to make an appearance at Magistate’s court for a routine remand hearing.

He had apparently missed a flight on his return from a church conference in Kenya…
