Zimbabwean reggae star Mic Inity on Saturday survived an attack by three men armed with bottles while he was in studio, 3-mob.com can exclusively reveal.
According to his manager, Robert Zhuwao, Inity – real name Mike Madamombe – was recording in the studio at Red Fox, when three men walked in. When he asked them to leave they started attacking him. One of them switched off the lights which meant Inity could not see where the bottle slashing was coming from. They also trashed the studio in the melee.
Fortunately, they were apprehended and upon being asked why they had gone into the studio, they said that it was because they were enjoying the music. As to why they attacked Mic Inity, they could not give an answer.
Inity needed seven stitches to treat his wounds at the emergency rooms on Saturday night.

We’re just glad he’s OK.
