2013 Zim Hip Hop Awards Nomination Criteria Revealed

The organisers of the Zim Hip Hop Awards 2013 have released the nomination criteria for this year’s event.

Through a post on Facebook they said:

• To be nominated for the 2013 Zim Hip Hop Awards, an artist’s music has to have been played on any of the three local Radio stations POWER FM, STAR FM , ZI FM from the previous cycle of October 2012 which ends on the 25th of october 2013.
• An artist stands a higher chance of nomination if they have released an album, video, and have more than three local performances throughout the course of the year.
• ZIM HIP HOP AWARDS will compile lists of possible nominees from different media and hip hop organisations, the lists will go through a panel of judges who will then announce final nominees.
• Submissions are also accepted online, only if criteria is met by the artist.
• Hotlines will be up and running by Monday 2 September.

They also add that by then, all categories will be available too.

This year’s event will be the third edition.
