Oscar Pistorious has had his bail conditions relaxed by a South African judge.
He will have his passport handed back to him – well his lawyer – which means that he will e able to leave the country to compete as long as he provides the state with his itinerary a week before he travels. He will also be allowed to go to is home, drink alcohol and will not be supervised.
But wait, this is a man who has been charged with murder and he wants his passport to go and compete in a competition? And some judge decided that this made sense. Sure e has no plans to compete but come on!
How do people maintain faith a justice system that allows a man to kill someone and still get to the Bahamas to chill. He shot Reeva Steenkamp. She is gone.
Bet you, if it was Thando from Bloemfontein who had been charged, he wouldn’t be allowed to even think of going over to Johannesburg to visit his sick mom.
In all this, Pistorious is becoming a victim. Meanwhile, Reeva Steenkamp is dead.
